Vision Programs

Commercial Vision

We offer two programs for the commercial client. The Avesis Advantage Plan, our fully insured, standalone program, is offered through brokers and agents to all employer groups and associations, regardless of their size.

Our second is a private label, risk-sharing program, distributed through large managed care and insurance company partners. Both programs deliver significant savings to the sponsors and members.

Essential Pediatric Vision

The Avesis Pediatric Vision Program satisfies the essential health benefits requirement under PPACA. Our Family Vision Plans are the right choice to bring value-added benefits to small group offerings. This program is available for small group and individual markets.

Medicaid Vision

Avesis has an eye care services plan designed exclusively for government-sponsored programs. We cover millions of members throughout the country and can launch efficient programs that meet state guidelines for quality of care. Our expertise with ever-changing Medicaid requirements makes administering these programs a breeze, and our Medicaid-specific networks exceed the minimum access requirements of every state we service.

Medicare Advantage Vision

Avesis delivers value-added vision benefits to a significant portion of the Medicare Advantage Market. Because seniors have an extensive need for vision care services, many of these plans are offering these essential benefits to their members. With our vision care program, Avesis can help differentiate Medicare Advantage plans.

Dental Programs

Group Dental

A healthy mouth is a healthy life. Our dental PPO plans offer excellent member benefits from a robust dental network. Flexibility, ease of administration, and competitive prices give our employer groups a healthy smile, too. (Dental PPO in select locations.)

Essential Pediatric Dental

Our Pediatric Dental Program satisfies the minimum Essential Health Benefits required under PPACA, and our new Family Dental Plans allow health plans attract more families to their small group offering by providing value-added benefits. The program is available for small group and individual markets.

Medicaid Dental

As the dental administrator for numerous health plans, Avesis has established a reputation among the dental community as a caring, competent partner. We provide Medicaid dental services to millions of members across the country.

Medicare Advantage Dental

Good oral health is a key component of overall health. Dental and medical researchers are now learning more about how dental conditions affect the entire body and how systemic diseases are linked by poor oral health. This is true with diabetes and heart disease, which are common in older patients and can have an impact not only on their finances but also on their longevity and quality of life.

MMP Dental

MMP is designed to coordinate care for individuals who are eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare (dual eligible or Medicare-Medicaid enrollees). MMP will generally have a unique ID card. Avesis covers MMP members in multiple states and administers dental benefits on a plan-by-plan basis.

Avesis will customize innovative hearing programs and networks for our clients’ needs, so our health plan partners can be assured of the best hearing care possible.

MMP Hearing

Gap Program

SecureADVANTAGE — Supplemental Gap Policy

For over 35 years, Avesis has delivered innovative employee benefit programs that maximize employer purchasing power and stretch employees’ healthcare dollars. SecureADVANTAGE is no different. This supplemental insurance policy enables employers to protect the level and integrity of coverage for their employees when they must choose higher deductible plans. The deductible and coinsurance increase results in a rate reduction, a fraction of which the employer can apply to SecureADVANTAGE, which will then cover out-of-pocket expenses like deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. The result may be a sizeable reduction in overall premium with little impact to employees’ out-of-pocket expenses.
